Nationwide Mutual Insurance Essential
From a coverage and price standpoint, it is a good policy; and we never have had to use i,t thankfully. But I trust Nationwide would be very responsive and helpful if we ever had to use this policy.

Generali Global Assistance Premium
We have used the CSA Travel Protection Custom Luxe plan for several of our trips and have always had great peace of mind knowing that it has great medical evacuation coverage in case of emergency.. Thankfully, we have not had to file any claims.

April Travel Protection Choice
I would never recommend Insuremy trip or April Insurance to anyone due to an apparent disconnect between the two of you. We had a major problem regarding payment for an additional amount for our cruise/air cost. We gave you/them several different perfectly good credit cards for the charge, but we kept getting messages that it wasn't paid for, payment wouldn't go through, etc. All cards had very high limits, nothing was wrong with any of them, and yet either you or April were incapable of completing the charge. It's all documented in my file at either your office or theirs. The incompetency became extremely irritating to us and we became seriously doubtful that we were dealing with a legitimate company. Never again. Next time will go with a direct carrier.

Typically, changes will take between 2-3 business days, so this was an uncommon occurrence. Sometimes changes can take longer than usual when updated credit card information is required.     Thank you for your comments. We certainly agree that spending more than 1,000 USD for a policy that you did not need to use may now seem unnecessary and expensive. Premiums are based on the ages of the travelers, cost of trip, and length of trip. Some plans may even vary their rates based on destination. Premiums also vary from company to company and plan to plan. John Hancock offered three levels of coverage, the Bronze, Silver and Gold plans. You decided to purchase the Gold plan which is their premiere program with enriched benefits and primary coverage.
