fortunately I didn't need to make a claim of any kind; but I found the process of selecting and deciding on a plan very easy, thanks to the helpful reps.....since i didn't use it I've no idea how it would have functioned had I needed the coverage, but it was worth the cash for the peace of mind.

4 star means that I spent too much on a policy that we did not use but at the same time this policy gave us a peace of mind that we were covered if a problem came up. 5 star if we needed to use the policy and that use out weighted the cost of the policy that it was necessary to have and you had covered us to the terms of the policy. So all in all, thank you.

I had a claim filed. The claim has now been rejected because delayed luggage by a unionized baggage handler is not covered. This resulted in a missed connection whereby another ticket had to be purchased on a different airline. No reimbursement for the additional ticket.

Forget this plan. They cover nothing. Had to buy another ticket because of mishandled luggage by the baggage handler. Refused to reimburse. "Expense not covered"

I didn't need to use the insurance so can't comment on how the company responds to claims. It was good knowing we had backup in case something went wrong on the trip.

While I felt I was getting the best coverage for my needs, the cost was much higher than on previous trips I've taken because I had turned 70. Since I am in perfect health and have been active in yoga, swimming, walking, dancing and other activities and I do realize insurance carriers must have categories for coverage according to risk, I do wish one wasn't penalized by being in a certain age bracket.
