I bought the coverage early on. Then, the hurricane hit the Caribbean. While I didn’t need the insurance I was glad I had it as it provided a safety net. I was very glad I didn’t need to,use this. I think it’s worth the price more then the insurance one guys for their mobile phone

I purchased my trip last minute, and only really wanted medical evacuation and emergency assistance. Everything else (trip interruption, etc) was covered under other policies or I wasn't worried about. Plus, I trust Blue Cross Blue Shield. This was the perfect fit!

The plan was a good value and i think might be a good plan for land travel but I'm not so sure about using for a cruise. I purchased it as a supplement insurance for a cruise, but the cruise line didn't accept it. However I will keep it in mind for future travel.

"It was great to see my review live. However Carnival didn't accept any type of insurance they are cash and carry. If you used their medical services they would bill your Sail n Sign card then give you a receipt/invoice that you submit to your own insurance company."

Luckily, we didn't need to use the insurance! About 2 days before the trip they sent an email telling us to have a great trip and giving us policy information and phone numbers to take with us in case we had any problems. That was great because I didn't think to take anything with us and probably wouldn't have remembered the name of the company in an emergency. I found the price to be good for the coverage provided.
