We had to file for a complete refund for four people for a trip to Italy because of a death in the family. We received complete payment within one month of filing--even though it could have been sticky when airline offered partial payment to us. In addition, customer care at both InsureMyTrip and at Travel Guard were knowledgeable, helpful, and even compassionate! I will continue to use Travel Guard in the future.

The customer service person who helped me select the plan was very good. Since I have parents over 90, it was a comfort to me to know if I needed to cancel my trip at the last minute, I would be reimbursed. Luckily I did not need to "use" my plan. I will use this again when I travel.

When I tore my ACL in April, my first thought was "what if I'm unable to walk on our trip to Italy?". Remembering that I had purchased insurance from InsureMyTrip.com allowed me to rest easy knowing that if necessary, I could reschedule my trip. It turned out that with surgery and physical therapy I was able to fully enjoy the trip as planned. This accident made me realize that issues can arise that thwart travel plans even for healthy individuals. I will always insure my future trips with insuremytrip.com.

Fortunately we did not experience any problems on our trip, medical or otherwise. On a trip to Europe in April, 2012 we had to file a claim that was processed quickly with no problems. We highly recommend Travel Guard.

I just wanted to cover the potentially substantial case of Medical Evacuation. The plan did this and also a bit more.
