Obtaining the coverage was very easy on-line. Fortunately, we did not need to file a claim, but we had the peace of mind of having a coverage for emergency evacuation if the need arose.

Claim was very slow, seen by 3 reviewers. Poor communication with me. I never received an adequate explanation. I sent documents and they always wanted more. I will never use AIG Travel Guard again. I urge you not to offer their services.

I would like to be able to get trip interruption coverage for these kind of trips in addition to medevac coverage, but the additional cost is just too much. The cost for this medevac coverage was doable, so we were happy to have that at least ... and happy that we didn't need to use it! Fortunately, we made all of our connections and the trip was fantastic, so we were lucky ... this time.
