Did not need to use the plan, which was only for Medical, so I can’t say how good the plan when filing a claim. However I thought the price was very reasonable and the coverage it provided was good.

Although forced to provide a rating on satisfaction with the plan, I can't comment on quality of claim handling, since I did not have a claim. The process of purchasing on Insure My Trip was very good, providing quick comparison of a number of plans.

It is too bad we need it...but since we do, this is an easy company to work with. We filed a claim on a previous trip for delays that ate up part of our bike and barge trip. Were very satisfied.

As most other purchasers stated: " I thankfully Did Not have to use the service". Tho at times & places along my trip had joking thoughts in my mind that "here is where it might come into play" ; )
Not sure how well it would have worked if I had to use it but Relative to the cost of everything else..It seems a very fair price to pay for some peace of mind.
If purchasing again I would be sure to verify a contact phone # for AIG that is "easily" called with the users language; from a foreign phone. All in all as a new traveler I have found phone calls very hard to make.

This plan gave me the peace of mind that if there were any problems prior to the trip or during the trip, I would be covered in most cases and wouldn’t lose the money I’d paid for my trip and it would cover cost of most major interruptions if they happened. Thank you!

Each Company will base the premiums of their plans on 3 main factors; (1) the ages of the travelers, (2) the length of your trip from home to home and (3) the total cost of your pre-paid trip cost. As the traveler's ages change, trip costs increase or the length of the trip is extended, the prices will also change accordingly.
