This plan offers optional coverage upgrades for baggage and certain activities such as mountaineering, aviation, hang gliding, skydiving, parachuting and bungee jumping.

After a bunch of research, I realized that most trip protection plans don't have sufficient coverage for medical emergencies. So this plan is a great supplement to a general trip protection plan and provides much higher coverage limits for serious medical situations. In a perfect world, I'd be able to buy the best of both in one plan. But this is the next best alternative, and I'd highly recommend you evaluate it.

It's Difficult to review sth that u don't have to use. that said, the website made it very easy to purchase the insurance and described in detail what's covered. so, it does give u peace of mind knowing u will be protected during your trip.

Initially, the claim was denied, but Insure my Trip contacted them for us and they reconsidered and paid. What I learned from this is - read your plan and do not believe what a representative tells you on the phone when you are calling in regarding a medical problem. . They only honor what is written in their plan.
