I did shop around for the best deal and AIG Travel Guard seemed to meet all my requirements and for a reasonable price. I hope if I ever had to place a claim that I would still feel this way.

The plan is fine. AIG's delivery of benefits is not. I had to cancel a trip to Greece on doctor's orders. I filed all the papers, answered followup requests and was told there was a backlog of claims. One month has elapsed with no further word. Not a good testimonial for AIG!

Really can't provide a meaningful evaluation since, thankfully, I didn't have any claims. Price etc. is important, but the test of a plan is how well it delivers when you have a claim.

We have always used Travel Guard as our travel insurance and after enjoying more than a dozen trips to Europe, we will not choose travel insurance with any company except Travel Guard. It protects our travels in every way and this is very important for now we are senior citizens. Thank you.

When my iPad was stolen at the airport in Paris (within 24 hours of departure from Atlanta), I was determined not to let this dampen my spirits for my long awaited trip to Eastern Europe. What a relief and pleasure it was dealing with TravelGuard when I submitted a claim for the iPad. My claim was processed so quickly and I am deeply appreciative of the service I received.
