In addition to Trip Cancellation, this plan offers Cancel for Any Reason coverage and a Pre-Existing Conditions Waiver. Children age 17 and under are free when there is at least one covered adult on the plan.

I would never travel without insurance, just in case, but I would like to see the company do a review of its rates. Are the rates in line with the number of claims paid? The process of purchasing the policy and the options available are top notch. I understand that they are a business and need to make money, but a review of the rates is my recommendation. My husband and I and the others that we have traveled with have always used this company.

As with any insurance, buying it isn't the hard part. It's only if you have a claim do you really find out how good they are to work with. Since I was fortunate enough to have no claim, then I can't really say. They took my money with no problem, but beyond that, I can't say.

Each Company will base the premiums of their plans by 3 main factors; (1) the ages of the travelers, (2) the length of your trip from home to home and (3) the total cost of your pre-paid trip cost. As the traveler's ages change, trip costs increase or the length of the trip is extended, the prices will also change accordingly. Typically, the number of claims filed or paid would not have an effect on the rate of the policy that is provided.
