In addition to Trip Cancellation, this plan offers Cancel for Any Reason coverage and a Pre-Existing Conditions Waiver. Children age 17 and under are free when there is at least one covered adult on the plan.

Thankfully we didn't need to use it but I never travel without it. I did need to use it last Feb as I broke my wrist skiing. It was very easy to get everything that I needed taken care of. Customer service was great.

I thought it was kind of on the expensive side for what was a basic plan to cover travel 2 western European countries. I didn't really shop around but think I'll do a bit more research next time. No complaints as didn't need to use it but seemed high compared with what I've paid previously.

the phone number to assist me in Spain is a US number. This is not practical, since some cells will not be allowed to call internationally, even if it is collect. There should have local number to call to assist us abroad. I imagine this is easy to implement, since a local number could be used to redirect calls to the US if you need it.

One number is provided while you are traveling within the United States, and the second is an international number that can be used worldwide. We had reason to file a claim after our trip and the process was relatively easy. The claim was handled promptly and our only complaint was that when we checked the website it said closed and they did not clearly communicate that it was approved. It was necessary to call.
