The AIG Travel Travel Guard Gold plan offers mid-level coverage and more options than Travel Guard Basic and Travel Guard Silver, allowing you to customize the plan to best fit your needs. In addition to Trip Cancellation, this plan offers Cancel for Any Reason coverage and a Pre-Existing Conditions Waiver. Children age 17 and under are free when there is at least one covered adult on the plan.

Since Travel Guard provided such excellent service in Italy in 2014 when I had emergency surgery and complete interruption of my travel plans, I have used no other company. Travel Guard is affordable and dependable. No one should travel without it. Thank you, Travel Guard for providing excellent service.

It is difficult to evaluate something we fortunately did not need to use. I have little comparison or experience with other plans as far as the value. I do know that this plan was cheaper than the one being offered by the cruise line.

Aig used the universal "pre existing condition" excuse to deny a valid claim whendaughter became ill and could not travel.

This was my first time in 6 cruises that I had bought insurance. AIG Gold completely put me at ease knowing if anything happened, I was covered. I did not need to file a claim. I know if anything had happened, it would be okay. My last trip I slipped and bumped my head pretty hard on the water park area deck. I wish I had this coverage then to go to the infirmary for a basic look over. I will be purchasing this plan again.

Due to an illness suffered on board a cruise ship, I had significant medical expenses. Upon returning home i called AIG and started a claim. I sent in the required documentation and received complete reimbursement in a timely fashion. I am very satisfied with the service I received.

Glad we purchased this insurance plan for our trip as we had to cancel our trip due to an illness and death of a family member. I made several calls to the insurance company asking for help with the paper work due to the changing circumstances of our situation and each time, I experienced polite, caring individuals who were happy to assist us. Once I sent out the needed paperwork, our claim was handled and completed in a very fast time frame. We are very happy with the service we received and will definitely look at buying travel insurance from them in the future.
