The AIG Travel Travel Guard Gold plan offers mid-level coverage and more options than Travel Guard Basic and Travel Guard Silver, allowing you to customize the plan to best fit your needs. In addition to Trip Cancellation, this plan offers Cancel for Any Reason coverage and a Pre-Existing Conditions Waiver. Children age 17 and under are free when there is at least one covered adult on the plan.

Thankfully, I did not need to use any part of this plan. While I can afford the cost of a trip being cancelled, having medical coverage when out of the country and covering the costs to get me back home in case of injury or illness is a critical aspect of this plan. Highly recommended for those over 60 or with potential health issues.
