Children age 17 and under are free when there is at least one covered adult on the plan.

It would be helpful if we could print a small card that we could show to a car rental agent proving that we purchased the rental car supplement. As it is, we have to show them the entire printed policy. All they need to know is the amount of coverage, who issued it and how to contact them.

When I fractured my ankle in Scotland on Christmas Day, Travel Guard made excellent arrangements for getting me home as soon as I was fit to fly. They processed my claim for medical expenses and trip interruption promptly and covered all expenses that I expected. I've recommended them to all my friends.

We never had to file a claim, but we certainly had peace of mind that we were covered in the event we were unable to go or had to cancel any part of our trip. It was an enjoyable trip, made even more enjoyable because nothing went wrong.

While the plan was acceptable the time it took to settle my claim (due to loss of employment) and the total lack of customer service by my claim representative were unacceptable. In good conscious I CANNOT recommend your company to anyone who asks.

Happily, I didn't have to submit a claim for any unexpected problem. I did think the plan was expensive but seemed to be the best one for the items I wished to have covered.

While in England my sister died so I had to extend my stay to enable me to go to the funeral, the ins. covered the extra cost of changing my dates, the refund went smoothly. The representatives that I spoke to were very courteous and sympathetic.
