We unfortunately encountered issues with our flight that resulted in us being delayed overnight which resulted in additional hotel and other charges. April paid our claim per the terms of our policy, though we felt the assistance we received when we called for guidance and the claim processing time could both be improved.

My delayed luggage claim was processed in just over 30 business days as advertised, and I received a check a few days later. The amount was fair and very close to what I expected, allowing for a minor variation in the exchange rate. I provided all the required documentation with my claim form and was not asked for any additional paperwork. The only suggestion I would offer to April is that they acknowledge receiving the claim; however, when I asked via e-mail, I received a prompt and courteous confirmation. I would use April again.

Am not a frequent overseas traveler; therefore, since you have a 24-7 response line, can you just have that telephone no. shown, along with the "key strokes" that are necessary to call that no. from anywhere in the world? That way, I can have it on "speed dial" in case of an emergency.

Getting a Travel Protection Plan such as the April Travel Protection Choice Plan gives us peace of mind when we travel. A low cost value that gives us protection where ever we travel knowing that should anything happen to either of us we have the protection. We wouldn't travel anywhere without it.

After you complete your purchase, you would receive two separate confirmation emails. The first email would be from your insurance provider, which would provide you with the full certificate of your policy, your schedule of benefits and your contact information. The second email would come from us at InsureMyTrip.com. We provide you a breakdown of your coverage, the details of your trip and your contact information, including your 24-hour assistance phone number. We recommend that you print out and take this confirmation email with you when traveling.
