Fortunately, we did not have to use the insurance but it gave us the reassurance that if one of us needed to be ‘evacced’ due to illness, expenses would be paid. I can only trust that you would be honest & that we would get no
‘surprises’ if we had had to use Roam Right.

shopped several plans including the one provided by the cruise line. Roam Right's plan offered more at a fair price. Happily, we did not need to file a claim. But, we had great peace of mind with your coverage in place.

Luckily, we did not have to use our insurance, so I can't comment on that part of it. We did, however, feel the plan was set at a fair price, and we will use them again in the future.

I always buy trip insurance when I am taking my family of 14 (kids, grandkids and in-laws) on a vacation. I have never had to file a claim before now. Our cruise ship was not able to dock in one port due to a tropical storm. I had planned a scuba trip for four of us with a company that refused to refund the payment I had made to them. Our policy included trip interruption and I was very pleased with the handling of my claim to RoamRight. I had a check for the entire amount within a month of arriving home from our cruise. The paperwork that they ask for was easy to provide to them by email and everything was finished long before I expected it to be. I will use RoamRight again when I travel. Also, the lady that sold me the policy was wonderful.

Luckily, we did not need to use the travel insurance. It was reassuring to know that coverage was available if the need arose. I did not realize that our own health insurance was the primary and Roam Right was secondary. Also, any changes in prescriptions, i.e. dosages, is considered a pre-existing condition.

We purchased this plan for a spring break cruise. After we boarded the ship, our daughter had a seizure for the first time in her life. We had only been on the ship for a half hour. We were advised to disembark and seek treatment at the ER. Once cleared for travel we had already missed our ship. This plan covered our cruise, our extra night hotel at the port and our out of pocket ER co pay. Once the claim was filed we had a check in less than 30 days. Most importantly our daughter has not had any further medical issues and we are doing testing on why and if she might have another seizure. Yes, I highly endorse and recommend this plan.
