Trip was cancelled by the cruise operator. I was refunded everything but $300 of the airfare (ticket cost less credit for a future flight). AXA took care of the $300 quickly and with no hassle.

Since I never had to use it, I wouldn't know how good it actually is. Its hard to give 5 stars when you don't get to use it. But I'm glad I didn't have to use it as well. :)

I always buy trip coverage when I'm abroad, and fortunately so far have never had to use it. I trust that the benefits will be there for me if I do need them. I make the assumption that InsureMyTrip will only include providers who fulfill the terms of the plan when a claim is made, and I make that assumption based on InsureMyTrip strong customer service orientation. I hope I never have to make a claim for illness or injury while traveling abroad, but if I do, the product will likely have come from here.

Thank you for your feedback on the policy. All of the insurance providers listed on our website are rated A- or better by the Better Business Bureau and/or A.M. Best. In addition, our Customer Ratings and Reviews forum allows travelers to tell us what they think about our products. If an insurance plan or provider receives less than the 4-star minimum standard rating, we will remove them from our site. Also, InsureMyTrip operates a customer advocate program service to all of our customers. After a claim is submitted, our customer advocates can help the insured submit documentation, expedite the claims process, and file appeals. We're in business to help our customers first.Feb 10,2015
