I spent hours and hours on the phone with customer service trying to get a straight answer about possibly filing a claim. I was told I'd be called back; I wasn't. I asked to speak to a supervisor; he/she wasn't available. I was so frustrated that I called the site who I purchased the plan through and ended up in tears on the phone (and she, by the way, was VERY helpful). So incredibly frustrated by the whole experience. We won't be using AXA ever again.

We do want you and your fellow customers to be aware that InsureMyTrip offers a Customer Advocate Program. Customer Advocates are representatives assigned to assist customers who experience issues after filing a claim. Requesting a Customer Advocate is as simple as calling 800-487-4722 or emailing [email protected], explaining the events which resulted in a claim, and the challenges you are facing.Jun 20,2017

You really do not know how good the plan is until you file a claim. Fortunately we have not had to file a claim but we feel confident and secure in our travels with the plans.

Fortunately, we did not have to use this insurance. I did find it rather expensive, although I suppose if we had had to use it and it had performed as promised I would not have been concerned about the cost. Of course, like all insurance companies it is all about profit and not necessarily a real service, so it is important to keep that in mind.

The plan was expensive, but it offered a lot of coverage. Thankfully, we didn't have to use it, but I've have other travel insurance plans that I've had to make claims on, so you never know, and it was worth every penny for the piece of mind knowing that we wouldn't lose our house if something did happen.
