We insured a trip to Italy, which we had to cancel because of a cancer diagnosis that prevented our traveling. The paperwork requirement to file a claim was not overly burdensome, and the claim was processed within a two-month period. Obviously, we would rather have been able to travel, but the trip insurance was a valuable investment. I'd recommend this company to other travelers.

Having the AXA Assistance Gold plan was peace of mind. I didn't need it - thankfully! But it was good to know that if I had chipped a tooth, or broken a foot, I would have had coverage. I enjoyed the comfort of knowing I would be fine on my 5 week trip, regardless of something coming up.

Fortunately, we did not have to file a claim. Representatives were friendly and helpful when making a decision on Travel Insurance. The only negative regarding the insurance is the overall expense. As we were a family of 4, and I purchased travel protection for everyone, it was quite costly.
