I took the AXA Assistance USA Gold plan because it had a "cancel for any reason" rider. Usually I would not book trip insurance to London, but because my brother-in-law's father had just died I figured it wouldn't hurt. Of course I didn't need it, but it was nice to know that I had it.

As I had no need to use the coverage or file a claim for any related issues ,I cannot comment on the coverage. This policy and all others from various companies are far too expensive for what they are. If, for the money the length of the policy coverage was guaranteed for at least a year and were to cover a max number of trips,then I could justify the cost, but for only one time bound trip, NO. For anyone no wanting to chance a covered issue the insurance companies dictate the rules and the price! There is little competition in any insurance market, pay me or else! Sanctioned insurance price fixing, in my opinion.
