The policy we selected seemed reasonably priced, with the key features we desired. I'm glad we bought travel insurance because one of the couples in our group had to cancel because of a diagnosis of stage 4 pancreatic cancer. You just never know.

Unfortunately, we could not go on our long awaited trip as my wife took ill and had to have major surgery. We filed our claim with appropriate medical evidence and were informed that the claim was be settled in 30 days.
