We did run into a possible delay on the way home. I noticed that the trip delay insurance only covered $200/day, which would barely have gotten us a hotel room, let alone pay for food and any essentials. So that is my only critique. But, as stated, we luckily didn't need the insurance, so it was all good.

Like any insurance, one hopes it never needs to be used. This is the second policy I've had and, fortunately, I haven't needed to use either. I don't have a lot of money, so the expense of these policies hits pretty hard. But it seemed to be the most cost effective company of the ones I looked at, and since I booked six months in advance, it was necessary.
