When we travel to Mexico, my two biggest concerns are medical coverage for emergencies, and getting back to the U.S. in the event something totally unexpected happens, medically or otherwise. The Trip Protector Lite provides coverage in the areas I need, for a great price, and provides the peace of mind I want for the trip for my family. We have purchased this policy for several trips, and thank goodness, have never had to file a claim! But it was there to protect us on our travels!

Fortunately, we did not have to make a claim, so I cannot comment on that aspect. However, the plan coverage suited our needs and was reasonably priced.

It's hard to effectively rate an insurance plan when you don't need to make a claim. While the plan appeared to suit our needs for a fair price, I can't really say anything about it since we (thankfully) didn't need to use it.
