I've never had reason to file a claim for travel losses so I assume the program is fine. I do recommend InsureMyTrip.com to friends and several have become regular customers as we save money over trip insurance plans offered by various travel agencies with which we deal. Paying less for the same or better level of coverage seems prudent.

It would be helpful to provide something that you can print out to take with you on the trip, like a small card or sticker to add to your passport, instead of referring the customer back to the original info.

Since I have never had to file a claim on any travel insurance I have purchased, I lean towards the cheapest I can get. The only way to really know if an insurance is good is to see how a claim is handled. However, I hope I never have to find out!
