Did not have to use it but seen how it is very important to have insurance. Three people became sick on our trip one had to have a doctor to the hotel which I was told cost $950.00 2 times.

I could not tell from the written policy whether I had the coverage I needed which was coverage for an emergency with my mother even though she had several different pre existing conditions, being age 94. So I took the word of the agents.

We have purchased trip insurance several times and had two claims - one for trip interruption on an international trip and the most recent for a cancellation due to medical reasons. In both cases the claim paperwork was reasonable, the processing prompt and the payment complete. The claim representatives were helpful, polite and able to answer my questions. Without a doubt, we will purchase insurance from InrsureMyTrip for our expensive trips. Well worth the money.

Stuff happens! And when you're booking a cruise a year in advance with your two sisters, each of us coming from different cities, a lot can happen. If one cancelled, would the other two go ! How great to have options and be protected from financial loss. For a couple of hundred dollars you can insure yourself against almost all contingencies (except onboard arguments!). Peace of mind!

Unfortunately, my wife had to opt out of a program due to a medical issue that prevented her from participating. Our contacts with the Travel Insured representatives provided us with all the information we needed to file our claim. And, our claim was processed efficiently. We will definitely recommend Travel Insured to others and purchase additional policies from Travel Insured for future travel when we are given the option of choosing a travel insurance carrier.
