Unfortunately, we had to cancel our trip to Greece due to an injury to one of the other couple we were going with. We filed out claim with C&F and received the full amount of our trip. We will use C&F again and would definitely recommend C&F to family and friends.

I have traveled frequently during my 85 years and have always purchased enough travel insurance to cover my trip. For many years I never had a problem and the insurance simply bought peace of mind. Twice in the last two years I actually needed the insurance. My claims were processed promptly and fairly covering medical expense on one occasion and trip cancellation on another. I do recommend Trip Protector Lite.

Went on a 10 day island hopping tour in Greece last October, 2017. I was part of a group of 16 women. The 5th day I became violently ill and had to be taken off Mykonos Island by helicopter to Athens Hospital. Being all alone and not understanding the language was the worst part of my ordeal. But Travel Insured International was absolutely wonderful! They were notified immediately and they responded immediately. They reached my husband by phone and walked him through everything that was happening to me, and stayed in contact the 5 days I was in the hospital. When my husband and daughter couldn’t reach me by phone while in the hospital, mostly due to language barrier, they took over and had 3 way conversations possible! Between my secondary insurance and Travel Insured International, I have been fully reimbursed. I highly recommend this company, and will be using them for all future travels!

We did not have a claim so cannot comment on any aspect of claims service or payout. The plan suited our needs because unlike some other plans it allowed us to choose the dollar value of coverage required to offset the amount at risk in case of cancellation and complement/supplement other coverages already held through US medical/health plan/property insurance, etc. Since we were traveling on frequent flier tickets, cancellation would not have cost anything and thus did not need to be covered. Many plans imply that you should cover full trip cost. This plan allowed us to cover only that portion of the trip's cost that would not have been reimbursed in case of cancellation. AH
