I've been using InsuremyTrip for about six years for every trip our family goes on. During that time we made one claim, daughters' suitcase stolen on a train in France, and the speed, courtesy and service in settling our claim was outstanding! I would never take a trip without you guys!!

It was my own fault. I forgot to get insurance earlier because I was busy buying and selling a home. When I remembered, I didn't even think of getting coverage for pre-existing conditions because I was fine. I wasn't even thinking about my travel companion and it subsequently turned out she had a condition which was treated before my effective coverage date. I was totally unaware of that at the time I took out my insurance. Unfortunately, that meant I had to cover the single supplement for myself. It doesn't seem fair, because I have absolutely no control over anyone else's medical condition, and it seems that it's a way to force people to get pre-existing coverage.

Most plans require that you purchase a policy within 10 - 21 days of your initial trip payment, and insure all prepaid, non-refundable trip costs to receive these time sensitive benefits.
