Turns out that emotional factors are not covered. My husband started having panic attacks, we had to cancel the cruise and we could not even use our insurance. Very disappointing and expensive.

While I didn't need to actually use the coverage, it seems quite comprehensive based on reading of the agreement. The part I liked best was the price and the ease of obtaining the coverage. I also needed to call with some questions, and the person who helped me was courteous, friendly, and very helpful. All in all, a good experience, and I will use them again in the future.

All I was interested in was a medical plan covering an emergency return to the US. The Travel Insured Worldwide Trip Protector plan accomplished it. I wish we could find a reasonable plan on an annual basis instead of by the trip.

Our son broke his leg 18 days before our cruise. Absolutely no hassles or problems with claim and receiving reimbursement. HIGHLY recommend InsureMyTrip for insurance coverage! We re-booked for February vacation and just returned. We used InsureMyTrip insurance again for that trip!

We will totally use this insurance co again. Great price and great coverage! Easy to work with. We were so upset we had to cancel and this insurance co made it so easy and we are now excited to rebook our cruise in February and WILL be using them again for travel insurance. THANK YOU!!!!

I didn't need to file a claim but the cost of the plan was far lower than what I would have paid through the air and cruise line. Well worth the peace of mind! I have recommended to others.

Mental, nervous, or psychological disorders are excluded on almost every travel insurance policy. The lone exception is that some plans will provide coverage for a mental, nervous, or psychological disorder which results in hospitalization.
If your primary trip cancellation concern is a mental, nervous, or psychological disorder, obtaining a Cancel For Any Reason benefit is advised. If you qualify and pay the premium for Cancel For Any Reason, you can literally cancel your trip for any reason.
The Cancel For Any Reason benefit has a few eligibility criteria:
1) Depending on the policy, Cancel For Any Reason is only available within 10-30 days after making the initial trip payment
2) You must insure 100% of the pre-paid, non-refundable trip cost
3) Depending on the policy, cancellation with the travel supplier must occur 48 or 72 hours before departure date
Benefits may only cover between 50%-75% of the pre-paid, non-refundable trip cost.
