Trip was cancelled due to the company going out of business. C&F only covered 75% of the trip instead of the 100% cancel for any reason as a company going out of business is not one of the anjy reasons listed at 100%. Main reason to buy travel insurance is to cover if the company goes out of business! Claim was handed fast and I had a very pleasant agent. Just not happy that they only covered at 75%

Worldwide Trip Protector Plus
Although I did not need the plan, I purchased it just in case because I was traveling out of the country, and there 10 separate flights involved. Despite nearly being stranded due to winter weather, the trip worked out fine. Better to be safe than sorry, so I advise having coverage to be on the safe side.

It is hard to evualate a plan when you didn't have to use it. However there was great peace of mind knowing I had purchased all of the uptions I thought might arise. That is what we do we we buy insurance, hoping we never have to use it.

Had to file a claim on cancel for any reason; they wanted proof of non-refundable airline ticket but then issued the % payment I had contracted for in a very timely manner; will buy again for this reason

We bought this insurance to cover our trip to China on Viking River Cruises. On the outbound we were delayed thus missing our flight to Beijing. We were able to get a flight the next day. We had to spend the night in San Francisco so we missed one night and one day of the tour. We incurred expenses of the hotel and food. We were reimbursed fairly, but it took some time because they had to get the information from the tour company and I had to call to remind them to look at additional data that I had sent them that they requested. I also was reimbursed for repair of my luggage quickly and easily. Overall, I believe this was a good plan and I would use this company again.

I have used this insurance for a couple of trips now and feel it is a very reasonable policy and makes me feel more secure if I have a medical problem. I have not had to file a claim and hope that I don't have to for future trips. I will use this company again.
