I can't speak to how satisfied I was with a plan I didn't have to use, but it was very easy to purchase and I appreciated that the site suggested the best insurance for the type and length of travel. The coverage appeared to be as good or better than the vacation insurance that was promoted through both the vacation booking site and the airline site … and was much less expensive. I would purchase travel insurance this way again.

I ended up using my travel insurance due to Hurricane Matthew. I submitted the required paperwork via fax and they kept constantly in contact via email. They managed to get 2 different airlines to refund back my tickets after they denied my request They refunded my room and airport transfers via check. I received a check and refund to my credit card statements within 3 weeks and 2 one of those weeks were due to the airlines dragging their feet to respond. Very smooth process and I will select Travel Insured every single time I travel.

Whew! It brought total peace of mind throughout the trip. With storms all over the U.S. and just missing a tropical depression storm, I was worried. Also as an active adventurous family, its nice to know, injuries are covered (if need be). Jamaica treated some other travelers finger with a stick stint at a hospital for 800.00 cash. I hope they had ins. I have a few trips in the future, I will use this same policy and feel I can enjoy my vacations with my family. Thank you, Rick Sager

Price for the coverage provided was great. Didn't have a claim so I can't say how well they handle claims. Be sure to get the sports rider if you may possibly do activities. It's not always clear if the riders are included until you read the fine print so be sure to just ask.

WE had a terrible experience with no functioning air conditioning in our hotel room while in Jamaica. The night were hot, sticky, restless and pretty much sleepless. It would be nice if the insurance covered issues like this. It was almost unbearable and most certainly not what one would expect especially because of the place we stayed at. Our family of 4 was very disappointed and incredibly uncomfortable. Such a shame.

Representatives were friendly and our claim was paid although not quickly. However in fairness, they were probably swamped with claims like our resulting from the Dec 26th blizzard that shut down the NY/NJ airports. I would definitely buy coverage from them again.
