I really hate insurance because when you buy it your betting that something is going to happen. Then when it doesn't you've paid for something you didn't need.

Traveling with the peace of mind that we had more than our limited out of country coverage was totally worth the low cost. The biggest concern is if you need to get from foreign country back to the U.S.. We know how much it is for air vac from our town to El Paso, TX only 45 miles (over $45,000) so just knowing that we had coverage that might actually pay for that type coverage really was a relief and nothing we then needed to worry about. And the good thing is we did not have to use the coverage!

Just because we are both in our 70's doesn't mean we should pay more for the same coverage as a 40 year old. We were obviously in much better shape than all the obese passengers in that age group on our recent cruise.
