Did seem easy. Did not like that I had to print 16 pages of hard copy to carry as a reference in the event loss of devices occurred to determine if coverage and who to contact. Perhaps provide a booklet to pack.

Thank you for your purchase of the Travel Insured, Worldwide Trip Protector policy. We want to make you aware that there is any easier way to have all of the information that you need for your trip. Shortly after you purchase your plan, you will receive an email from InsureMyTrip that is labeled "Confirmation of Coverage". In order to make things easier for you, we have included all pertinent information on the Confirmation of Coverage, including Claims and Emergency Assistance phone numbers, Policy Number, Order Number, and general plan summary. We ask that you print this email out, and take it with you on your trip, so that you have easy access to the information that you need. Generally, this email will be 5 pages long, if you print single sided. Alternatively, Travel Insured also provides a Confirmation of Benefits that prints to approximately 2 pages and provide similar information. Hopefully this will make traveling a little lighter. However, feel free to print your full policy certificate, or call us at 1-800-487-4722. We can send the information to you by mail at your request.Oct 13,2015

My husband had emergency surgery just weeks before our trip was to start. Our doctor said he would be unable to go on the trip. The tour company gave us less than half of the money back and Travel Insured refunded the rest of the money. We had our claim settled in 18 days! We were very pleased with how Travel Insured took care of our claim. We would definitely use them again.

InsureMyTrip was very helpful and efficient with sorting out my options and finding a plan that was most appropriate for me. I liked that I was able to purchase in stages as I laid out the money for the trip. The reason for only 4 stars on the coverage for events was because the Cancel for Any Reason option only covered up to 75% of cost. It definitely gave me peace of mind to have the policy.

Thank you for your feedback on the policy. This policy comes equipped with trip cancellation coverage offering 100% reimbursement of the trip cost if the traveler is prevented from traveling due to a covered reason. By opting for the additional Cancel for Any Reason rider, the insured can also cancel their trip for a non-covered reason and receive 75% reimbursement of the trip cost. Typically, Cancel for Any Reason reimburses between 50%-75% of the trip cost depending on the policy.Jul 28,2014

Did not have to file a claim. Bought extra insurance for cancel for any reason but would have liked to only apply that to part of trip and not entire trip. Also found out I would have to pay for any changes or emergencies and then get refunded. This might be difficult from a remote location.

Travel insurance is always going to position themselves to reimburse. It is a leverage position to ensure loss is according to policy. It would be logistically impossible for there to be some type of insurance verification and post collection process system the way health care is done.Nov 14,2014
