These folks are great. I had never insured a trip before - why insure? I'd saved for 10 years for the trip, I was going. Then my husband was diagnosed with a rapidly progressing terminal illness. CSA processed the claim, refunded my money, over $8,000. Money that was suddenly needed for medical bills. Insure with these folks, it's worth it.

Airline lost my luggage for a planned 11 day cruise to arctic circle. no appropriate clothes. tried to have flight back changed since I did not want to go on this cruise with no clothes. told this is not a covered reason. Stuck going on cruise with only small amount of $ to get some replacements for all I needed and total expense was quote MINUS what airline offered, not in addition to what airline offered which was unreasonable. ($100 for arctic vacation)

Not cool when I tried to make a claim due to an emergency before the trip, provided all the documentation requested and after spending a lot of money on this trip, turned around and told me my emergency wasn't covered. The purpose of me getting this insurance was because of the amount of money invested in it and the long period of time we had to wait to travel. No, I won't recommend this company to anybody and I will never use it again. Not worth it!!

    Thank you for your feedback on the policy. We are sorry to learn that you were unable to travel due to an emergency. Trip Cancellation reimburses 100% of the pre-paid and nonrefundable trip cost if the trip is cancelled due a covered unforeseen event. If the reason for cancelling the trip is not a covered peril or results from an exclusion, the claim will be denied. Please call us at 800-487-4722 and request a Customer Advocate if you feel as if your claim was incorrectly denied. You can also contact CSA Travel Protection to receive further explanation as to why your claim was denied.

Considering we did not need to file a claim I can only speak to the ease of purchasing the insurance. It was not difficult and we record immediate confirmation and info via email.

the cost for coverage that you don't use is waaaay too much!! You should offer 20% refund if you don't have to use the coverage!!

Very comforting to have comprehensive coverage for a long and pricey trip paid for months ahead of time. Our Vet is having fund raisers to help pay to return her partner from Spain after being struck on a biking trip. She requires $60,000. This makes the risk/rewards ratio of having bought CSA Trip insurance absolutely compelling.This was my third policy. Each time I compare the coverage to price and CSA wins each time. Way better bargain than offered by cruise lines and tour packages. I look forward to my next trip!

I called the hotline for assistance in finding a physician in London. The CSR was very helpful, sending me an e-mail of references, and even followed up later with a call to see how it went.

We had some potential issues related to a strike of trains and a cancellation. We contacted the insurance and they were helpful in providing details of what would be needed if we had to file a claim. It provided peace of mind during a stressful time. In the end, we were not effected by the strike.
