We had a family emergency and had to come home one week early. The agents at the insurance company were very helpful and quickly reviewed and settled our claim.

Ultimately, one can evaluate insurance coverage only when one needs it. Thankfully, I did not need to make a claim, but an issue did come up: At the very last minute, the cruise line completely changed the itinerary of ports being visited. I was left wondering whether this change affected my coverage?

I called to initiate a claim and the representative was very helpful and offered some good advice. The claim forms were emailed to me right away and once the claim was sent it I received a notice within a couple of days that the claim had been processed. Excellent service!

Unfortunately we had to cancel. The claims representatives stated that the policy was not in effect on the date of purchase of 12/21/2105. They stated the date was 12/22/2105. This was the date that the doctor treated my wife. In addition they stated that the doctor who treated my wife stated that the condition had occurred multiple days before her in person treatment. On the doctors sheet provided in your kit he stated that this not a condition of an underlying condition and she was medically unable to travel on 12/22/2105 which is in guidelines of the trip.

The plan covered all our concerns and was reasonably priced. Although we did not need to file a claim, we felt assured just knowing we had the coverage if it became necessary.
