A fellow traveler on my trip had a heart attack. He had to have immediate surgery in a foreign country. Thank God he had trip insurance. Never leave home without it.

We never got to go on our trip that was planned for October 25, 2019, because on October 23, my healthy husband had emergency heart bypass surgery. Needless to say, vacation was the furthest thing from our minds. I alerted the airline and the travel company to delay our departure for six months to April 25, 2020, but I failed to contact insurance company. When I did, it was past our departure date. I didn’t want to file a claim because we are still planning to take the trip. We asked for the insurance coverage to be reassigned to the future dates for the same trip. We received no satisfaction, no compromise, no consideration. It’s all business, no humanity. Just pay again if insurance is needed. No thank you...

We had to cancel our trip at the last minute due to extreme health issues. Everyone at Generali was very helpful and kind and were able to help me get the information I needed to complete the claim. I was able to get our money refunded. I will definitely plan to work with them again.

This plan is easy to sign up for and have bought it a number of times. I only use it for the medical coverage. While I have no health conditions, my policy has very limited out of network coverage. I have never filed a claim so can't speak to the claims process.

We had to submit a claim for medical treatment on a cruise ship. The online claims process was relatively easy, and though the claim review was not particularly speedy (about 1 month), our claim was paid in full with no questions asked. We would get a policy from them again.

The plan I chose covered everything I felt I needed for my trip. I had a feeling of security knowing I had such complete coverage. Fortunately, it was not necessary to file a claim since all went well on the trip.
