InsureMyTrip is very helpful in purchasing travel insurance. The CSA plan was fine; thankfully we did not have to file any claims. The weak point in the coverage is replacement of items in lost or stolen luggage. Coverage for the current market value of one's clothing is pointless; what the traveler wants is replacement cost.

The travel protection provided me ease of mind in knowing if something happened I had coverage. A couple of my fellow traveling golf associates who didn't take out travel insurance weren't as fortunate as their clubs were delayed by the airlines, had out-of-pocket expenses and the hassel of filing claims against the airlines for reimbursement.
