Never used it, thank goodness, so I can't speak to how a claim would have been handled. The price was comparable to other plans, slightly less for similar coverage. The company has been around a long time with a good reputation. That's what sold me on purchasing it.

Thank you for taking the time to provide us with your feedback. If you were to contract bacteria or a virus while on your trip, there may potentially be coverage as the CSA Travel Protection Custom policy provides travelers with Trip Interruption, Travel Delay, Emergency Medical, and Emergency Medical Evacuation due to unforeseen illnesses and accidental injuries that were incurred while traveling. However, the threat of bacteria would not be a covered reason listed within the policy for Trip Cancellation or Trip Interruption. To have coverage due to the threat of bacteria, we would advise reviewing products that offer the Cancel For Any Reason option.
