I submitted a claim for dental coverage for a dental problem which arose late on my cruise. Although no dentist was available to me, my claim was denied because dental treatment was not obtained during the voyage. In my opinion, the insurer rigidly adhered to the written policy without consideration of the claim circumstances. No compromise was made. I expect that inflexible and uncompromising approach typifies their claims review process so I cannot recommend this travel insurance company.

I am happy to report that I did not have to file a claim for anything, but I read a number of reviews of people who did and they were all positive. It was very important for me to have insurance because I was going so far away and because if anything happened to me I did not want any problems getting home. I loved that the insurance covered me before I took my trip in the event something happened and I had to cancel, but thankfully that did not happen. Overall I only have had good experiences and I hope that continues.
