Claim was submitted on Sept. 22, 2022. It is still open ( or at least not paid in full or in part or declined). We had to cancel our trip due to an injury to my wife's ankle requiring extensive surgery. I have submitted everything they asked for (with much difficulty due to their requiring everything submitted electronically - not good at scan/file/find/ attach). Finally asked for fax #. Fax docs to them and they claim they didn't get them or lost them. Last contact was 10/26 /22. Rep (George Garcia) is very hard to understand when I did speak with him by phone. Last contact he was to speak with his boss about something or other, but I never heard back from him. HELP!!

My only concern was that the evacuation did not seem to be at the discretion of the policy owner, but at the discretion of others. Since we didn't have to make use of the policy (thank goodness!), I am not sure what would have actually happened.

I have tried calling but your lines are busy due to the pandemic, I understand. But I would like to speak to someone to confirm what would have been covered or not covered under my policy if I had to cancel mid trip.
Coverage and satisfaction are place holders until I hear response.

As will all insurance a purchaser never knows how good it is unless a claim is filed. l We had the good fortunate of not needing to file a claim so are really not able to evaluate our policy.
