Fortunately, I had no major problems on the trip. Inadvertently, I lost a cane with folding seat and a donut cushion the first day away. On return home, eight days later, I wrote Generali that I had registered the cane loss with the airport police. When I left Dublin, I checked with them again, nothing turned in.
I gave Generali the prices from Amazon and they sent me a check. If they handle missed flights and illness that way, they are excellent.

Did not have to file a claim, so I can't rate whether I would recommend the company. I do know that if you need to file a claim, the # 1 recommenation I can give is "HOLD ON TO ALL OF YOUR RECEIPTS".
