What a great service! I would have paid many times more through the cruise line and received a fraction of the coverage. I checked options on line and was super impressed with the coverage and choices. I used the online chat and had the best experience ever. I got very customized care and was able to tailor a plan literally, with exactly what I wanted. I didn’t have to buy coverage I didn’t want. The agent then sent me links to all the best plans in her opinion. I ended up buying the coverage I wanted for an excellent price and immediately my wife and I had tremendous peace of mind on our vacation without breaking the bank.

Flights were cancelled due to bad weather. Called CSA and was given all of the information I needed to file a claim for our plan. Agent was very friendly and helpful. I was able to purchase alternate travel arrangements at the airport and still make our cruise departure in time. We were reimbursed in a reasonable time frame after the trip and the claims process was smooth. We have been a regular customer of CSA and made a couple claims over the years. Based on this experience and past experiences, we will continue to be a customer for a long time.

I was very pleased with the CSA Travel Protection Custom Luxe plan. Most insurers do not deliver your luggage to you, but CSA says it does. This is important because airlines only deliver your luggage to you if you're still in the town you flew into or to the nearest large, commercial airport that they fly into. This doesn't help much if you're not near a big airport when they find your lost/delayed bags. Also, CSA Travel Protection Custom Luxe requires that the luggage be delayed 12 hours versus 24 hours for most other companies. They also include rental care insurance. More coverage for a lower cost all around!

    Thank you for feedback on the policy. Here is an excerpt from the policy regarding Baggage Delay:

    We will reimburse you, up to the amount shown in the Schedule, for the cost of reasonable additional clothing and personal articles purchased by you, if your Baggage
    is delayed for 12 hours or more during your Trip. We will reimburse you up to the amount shown in the Schedule for expenses incurred during your Trip to locate/track your delayed Baggage, and to retrieve your delayed Baggage or to have your delayed Baggage delivered to you. We will also reimburse you for the cost to launder your clothing during the time your Baggage is delayed.

    The rental car coverage on the plan is a collision damage waiver. Please check with the rental car to company to make sure they accept third party insurance.

I have purchased several of these plans in the past and was very satisfied with two trips of which I needed to file a claim. The claims were processed quickly and the customer service was very helpful. It was definitely worth the expense.
