Fortunately, I didn't have to make any claims, although I must admit I felt a lot easier about having to disembark from one plane and run across the aisle to catch the tail end of the line boarding my next connection, knowing if my bags were lost, I wouldn't have to rely only on the airline!

We chose this plan because we could get full coverage when purchased prior to making our final trip payment rather than within days of the initial trip payment from other carriers. As it turned out, we went on the trip and did not need to submit a claim, but it was reassuring to know we were covered.
