The Voyager Choice is a single-trip Medical plan which offers emergency medical coverage while you are traveling abroad. This plan does require you to have primary health insurance in place, but there is no exclusion for pre-existing conditions. With this plan, you have the ability to select the medical limit and also the deductible amount that you are most comfortable with.

Fortunately, did not need plans coverage. Basic benefit was insurance if I did have a medical problem. Plan seemed reasonable but no way to evaluate without actual use.

GeoBlue Voyager Choice
When I left, I thought EVERYTHING was covered that I needed to have covered. I borrowed my daughter's expensive suitcase and the only thing that went wrong was her suitcase
was damaged.
When I called to have it taken care of, I was told that it wasn't covered. It made me wonder what else wasn't covered?
I don't trust that the rest of my insurance was really covered.

    "Thank you for your feedback. We apologize for any inconvenience that you may have experienced. The plan that you purchased is a travel medical plan designed to cover you for sickness or injury while you are abroad. Even though the plan focuses on medical, it does have small amounts of coverage for re-issuing lost passports, re-issuing lost airline tickets and replacing a lost piece of luggage ($100 per incident). Unfortunately, the benefits of your plan do not include coverage due to baggage damage. We strive to provide a seamless service to our valued customers and again appreciate your feedback."

    Most Single-Trip Medical plans do not cover damaged luggage. The best way to cover lost, stolen, or damaged luggage is by purchasing a Comprehensive travel insurance plan. Luckily I didn't need to use the coverage but it gave me peace of mind to know that I had it in the event that I needed it. Customer service was very informative and helpful. Thank you!

Didn't have a cliam this time but had great peace of mind. Price is great, especially if you don't need a Trip Cancellation option. Have had a claim in the past and received prompt and complete reimbursement for all expenses incurred. Will definitely use for all future trips.

GeoBlue Voyager Choice
I was very satisfied with GeoBlue. On my trip I got sick and needed to see a doctor. I called geo blue's concierge service and they helped me find a doctor that gave me a same-day appointment one day before a holiday. The process was seamless because the concierge was able to email the doctor the payment guarantee so I didn't have to pay for anything when I got to the doctor's office. I would highly recommend Geo blue and I will be using them again.
