The Voyager Choice is a single-trip Medical plan which offers emergency medical coverage while you are traveling abroad. This plan does require you to have primary health insurance in place, but there is no exclusion for pre-existing conditions. With this plan, you have the ability to select the medical limit and also the deductible amount that you are most comfortable with.

I did have an accident and called them. Feel the plan I purchased was definitely worthless. They were not at all helpful either. I am in the medical field and understand insurance and should have realized how they wrote the policy to not include anything.

My only comment is when I went to the website to print my card it didn't recognize by email/password login. I then tried to call customer service and was never able to get through the prompts to speak to a live person. I had printed the confirmation page when I first signed up and had that as proof...but I was extremely frustrated with the lack of customer service when I needed it.

The plan was for Medical only and I am satisfied by the coverage offered for the given price. However, I didn't file a claim. I hope though that if I did file a claim, process would go smoothly.

Like so many other reviewers, I found this plan OK. Fortunately, we did not have to make a claim. I have no idea of how good this plan would have been if we had had to make a claim.

Loved it that this plan covered my childs type 1 diabetes that she is treated for at home. I will use it again for sure!
