The GeoBlue Voyager Essential is a single-trip medical plan which offers emergency medical coverage while you are traveling abroad. This plan does not require you to have primary health insurance in place. Medical coverage on this plan includes an exclusion for pre-existing conditions, but there is still coverage for emergency medical evacuation whether it is due to a known condition or not. With this plan, you have the ability to select the medical limit, and also the deductible amount that you are most comfortable with.

I filed a claim, but didn't hear back for two weeks now. Finally they send me a letter telling me that the two claims I filed are not covered.
The two claims were for change of travel plans due to hazardous weather conditions. Local authorities closed the harbor and sent out a notice for safety warning for the entire city. I lost money on the ferry and the hotel that I would have used!

Our GeoBlue Voyager Essential plan provides coverage for Trip Interruption claims related to illness or injury only. Unfortunately, the benefit does not include coverage for Trip Interruption claims related to inclement weather delays or cancellations.
Additionally, the Trip Interruption benefit under this plan provides coverage for non-refundable deposits only.
