Whenever I go on a trip weather in the US or to other countries. In this case to fish for Atlantic salmon on the rivers of the Gaspe in Quebec. For peace of mind i always add medical and travel insurance coverage for my journey. Global Alert was the exact coverage I needed at this time.

Peace of mind come to me when I purchase a health insurance plan like Global Alert! Preferred Plus whenever we travel. Especially to a foreign country. A personal experience when my wife was hospitalized during our trip to Germany last summer. The first thing that was said upon arriving at the emergency room. "Do you have health insurance" From then on my wife recieved the care she needed and recovered so that we could continue our trip. Never having to spend even a penny on hospital bills. Global Alert! Preferred Plus took care of all the expenses. Now you know why we get health insurance whenever we travel. Thanks insuremy trip for providing the coverage.

When your away on vacation or traveling in a foreign country you never know when a medical issue will happen. For peace of mind I always buy a medical plan to cover any needs while I am away. In this case Globel Alert. Keep in mind when you need medical help in a foreign country the first question you will be asked is, "Do you have medical coverage". The price of a medical plan while traveling is nothing compared to what your cost would be if you would have to be hospitalized. Remember, Medicare does not cover your medical expenses outside the US. So remeber this the next time your preparing to travel outside the US.

I could have used my own medical plan for Alaska. I was only out of the country 2 days and someone should have recommended something cheaper. It was too costly for what I needed. Now I know differently.

The Global Alert Preferred policy offers Trip Cancellation, Trip Interruption, Baggage Loss, Baggage Delay, Travel Delay, Emergency Medical, Emergency Medical Evacuation, Financial Default, and a Pre-Existing Condition Waiver. Additionally, premium is typically within the range of 4-10% of the trip cost and is determined by the following factors: the length of the trip, the cost of the trip, and the ages of the travelers.
