Thankfully, I did not have any issues and did not need to use the insurance. It was nice knowing I had coverage if I needed it, especially so far from home.

I am grateful that the trip insurance that I purchased thru InsureMyTrip.com specifically Global Alert! Preferred to South Africa came through when I really needed it! My husband was diagnosed w/ stage 4 cancer on 1-10-12, I purchased the trip insurance on 1-9-12. After supplying all of the needed info, I was sent a check for the full cost of my flight. Many, many Thanks!!
