I'm reluctant to recommend this company due to the slow claim processing. They acknowledged receipt of my claim with supporting documentation on 9/5/17 stating that the claim process would take 20 to 25 days. My claim was a very cut and dry claim under the Trip Delay/Trip Cancellation Benefit of the policy. I did not receive payment until 11/6/17 after four phone calls to Trip Mate, Inc and the assistance of an advocate from Insuremytrip.

I can't really say, as I never had an accident or got sick. I feel it's just safe to have this kind of insurance in case something does happen. it seems awfully expensive to me but I feel I just had to have it.
