I have used Global Alert for a variety of trips over the past ten years. Importantly, I have put in two trip cancellation claims, and both have been paid promptly and with absolutely no hassle. I will definitely continue to use them.

This plan had the coverage I was looking for at a price that was SO much better than what the cruise lines offer. What was also really great was that I was able to purchase the insurance a week before my trip. I was very satisfied with the coverage and the price.

The process was simple and self explanatory. Even though I never filed the claim, I had a great feeling of being insured with an affordable coverage. Will use it next time and recommend it to a friend.

We did not need to use the plan for anything but like all insurance, it gave us peace of mind had we had to use it. Will we use it again? Yes.

While I didn't need the plan, when traveling internationally I wanted a plan that allowed me to cancel the plan if work required it, and medical coverage in the event something happened overseas (as not all US health insurance will cover it). I'm fortunate that I didn't need it, but immediately after the purchase they send all the program details and also a nice summary sheet of your coverages and who to contact overseas, the perfect paper to keep on hand when traveling in the event something happens. Will definitely consider this plan again.

Good Luck,..No claim this time.. Previous claim required patience and diligence to get it paid.. I am an insurance agent and knew what it took to get the claim paid.. I had to explain to the claim representative how they were responsible for the expenses.
