Unfortunately we are among the few people who actually file a claim on their insurance. While in Latvia at the beginning of our trip my wife had a stroke, which required her to be hospitalized for three days and required us to cancel the bulk of our trip. While in Latvia the insurer was in touch with me and handled the hospital expenses so that I did not have to worry about them. The larger claim was the trip interruption claim, and upon our return the insurer paid our claim in full without any hassle to us. I filed a completed claim form, they contacted our travel agent for some information, and then immediately paid the claim. You could not ask for better service. Thanks HTH.
