No claim was filed, so I can't comment on how well the insurance served my needs. On a previous trip, I did need to file a claim with this company, and it went as expected: usual insurance company foot-dragging, multiple requests for the same documentation, and then appropriate payment of the claim per the policy agreement.

It seems like a good plan, and I had no problem changing the dates of coverage when my trip date changed. Since I had no claim, I can't comment on that. Having "cancel for any reason" coverage made the pre-trip less stressful.

three weeks before our departure date, my husband needed surgery to clear an unexpected blockage in an artery. The claims process was easy, and payment was prompt. Four days before departure, our son was in a biking accident. We just submitted that claim, but I expect that everything will go as smoothly as my husband's claim. What a run of bad luck!
